You don’t deserve to be spammed or find out you’ve been added to another pesky mailing list without your permission!  That’s why we have a Privacy Policy showing you exactly how we collect your information and what we use it for.

Our Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from the Little Change Creators website.  It also informs the ways we may use your information when you communicate with us through one of our social media channels (Facebook,  Instagram,  Pinterest,  TikTok or  LinkedIn)  or when you have any other form of interaction with us including, but not limited to, emails, phone calls, in person contact, surveys, etc.

Collectively, these locations are grouped as the “Site”, however reference in this Policy to the “Site” – unless advised specifically – could include any one of these locations.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Device Information

When you visit our primary website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.  Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site and information about how you interact with the Site.  We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

2. “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
3. “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Order Information

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, Paypal or Shop Pay details as appropriate), email address, and phone number.  For suppliers and wholesalers, we may also collect additional information such as ABN or international equivalents and other information required to fulfil purchases or bulk sales.  We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

General Information

When you visit our social media sites, we may collect personal information to the extent that those sites allow us to.  We may also collect personal information from you via emails, phone, in person or via our surveys (where applicable). We refer to this information as “General Information.”

Personal Information

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about Device Information, Order Information and General Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the primary Site, or other locations where orders are made.  This information is required to be accessed by our employees and third parties who have a need to know for the purposes of completing the transaction, including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations.  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

1. Communicate with you;
2. Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
3. When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We use General Information to support the tailoring of campaigns, special offers, market research, targeted marketing and general communication about products, product improvements, events and blog articles related to our products and areas of interest related to our brand ethos. 

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.  For example, we use Shopify to power our online store.  You can read more about how Shopify uses your Personal Information on their website.  We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site.  You can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information.  You may also opt out of Google Analytics.

Other parties which we need to provide your details to for the purposes of conducting business include Inuit Quickbooks for financial accounting purposes, Klaviyo for customer relationship management and various freight companies in order to ship purchases to you.  If we’re unable to provide information to all these parties, we may not be able to complete our transactions with you.  We’ve taken all reasonable steps to ensure any third party we provide information to has appropriate security of your personal information.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to any subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive or to otherwise protect our rights.

In the event of a business restructure, whereby the business is acquired, sold, merged or expanded, we may, as part of the new business dealings, transfer your Personal Information as a business asset to be accessed by any relevant new parties.

BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

No matter the country you come from or are contacting us from, we understand the importance of privacy.  Should you wish to know the information that we hold on you and wish to have it updated or removed, please don’t hesitate to contact us. 

Specifically, if you’re a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.  If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you’re a European resident, we note that we’re processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example, if you make an order through the Site) or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Furthermore, we advise that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, to North America and Australia in particular.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we’ll maintain your Order Information for our records unless, and until, you ask us to delete this information.

MINORS

Our Site does not have an age restriction.  However, it’s recommended that minors do not use our Site without adult supervision as they may, deliberately or unintentionally, make a purchase.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
